Mount Singgalang, a mountain fire which is not active. The mountain is covered with tropical rain forest, climbing steep tracks and there are 2 pieces lake at the top of the Goddess Pond and Lake Beetle.
Mount Singgalang is one of the few mountains in West Sumatra Province. Singgalang mountain heights reached 2.877 meters above sea level. Mount Singgalang geographically located in Agam District. This mountain was right to stand firm on the Mount Merapi.
Mount Singgalang have Dipterokarp forest hill, forest Upper Dipterokarp, Montane forest, and forest or forest Ericaceous mountain. Dipterokarp Forest Hill is a forest area located at an altitude between 300 to 750. Main principal species Seraya, Keruning Main, Main and Meranti. Top Dipterokarp forest is a forest area located at an altitude of 750 to 1.200 meters, the main species of Main and Main Meranti Bukit Damar Minyak.
